2020 Mazda CX-9 Ranked #2 on Car and Drivers SUV Ranking List
The 2020 Mazda CX-9 was awarded the number two spot in Car and Drivers Mid-Size Crossover and SUV Ranking list. The list consisted of 22 Mid-Size Crossovers and SUVs and were ranked from best to worst.
Car and Driver gave the CX-9 the second spot because, “it offers a great deal of driving fun thanks to a well-sorted chassis, communicative steering, and a gutsy turbo engine.” Car and Driver also mentioned the CX-9’s premium interior materials and features.

The 2020 CX-9 is comfortable and refined with updated features like the nine-inch infotainment system and a Bose® 12-speaker premium audio system.
The second-row captains’ seats are accompanied by features like USB ports and cupholders that are essential to making any drive special for the entire family. Touring and Grand Touring trim levels have a passthrough between the captain’s seats for easy access to the third row, while the CX-9 Signature offers a second-row center console. Additionally, heated seats are available with Grand Touring and Signature trim levels.
