All six Mazda vehicles tested for the Top Safety Pick Awards by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) earned their spot on the list!

Six 2023 Mazdas Earned IIHS Top Safety Picks
The requirements for the 2023 IIHS Top Safety Pick Awards were strengthened this year.
The crash protection and prevention, and headlight performance are expected to better than previous years. The IIHS side crash test was replaced with the updated 2021 launch. This updated test involves 82 percent more energy and vehicles have to earn an acceptable or good rating to pass. The Mazda CX-5, CX-9, and Mazda3 all earned good ratings.
